Tiivistelmä. Tässä työpaperissa esitellään PTT:n alueellinen asuntomarkkinaennuste vuosille 2008-2011. Ennusteen mukaan koko maan tasolla asuntojen hinnat laskevat viidestä kymmeneen prosenttia vuosina 2008-2011. Varsinaista asuntojen hintaromahdusta ei kuitenkaan ole näköpiirissä. Hintojen nousuvauhdissa ei ole suuria eroja maan eri osien välillä, vaan muun maan asuntohinnat seuraavat pääkaupunkiseudulla alkanutta hintojen sopeutumista alaspäin.

Abstract. The paper presents PTTs regional housing markets forecast for years 2008-2011. According to forecast, the housing prices will decrease in the whole country at approximately five to ten per cent between 2008 and 2011. No collapse in the housing prices in sign, however. There is no significant differences between the price developments in the different areas of the country. The housing prices of the rest of the country will closely follow the developments of the housing prices in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.
