The primary goal of the study is to develope a model for Finland's paper exports to her main markets. Mewsprint and other printing and writing paper are treated as separate groups. First, the history of printing and writing paper markets is studied in the light of market shares, consumption and imports. Then an imperfect market model is specified for exports. It is assumed that the products are heterogeneous to some degree and that Finland has some market power on both the British and German markets.
