Climate is a cross-cutting issue in our work

Climate change, how to mitigate its effects and climate policy are currently one of our central research themes. The issue involves all our research groups and it combines our wide experience of forest, agricultural and national economy research.

We are exploring how to fortify the carbon sinks in the forests by soft steering methods (nudges), how to minimize GHG emissions from peatlands, and what are the effects of climate policies on economy and inequality.
